The Parent Association’s role is to help raise much needed funds to enrich your child’s experience while at NHGS. We are proud to support many projects in school and our fundraising helps fund both exciting ‘big ticket’ items and many smaller projects.
As a parent or guardian of a child at NHGS you are automatically a member of the PA. There are many ways in which you can become an active member and the committee always welcomes and encourages new offers of help (in whatever way you can help) We’re always looking for new members to join our monthly committee meetings, where we plan and organise our fantastic events, and we always need a large group of volunteers to help at the events we support. We are currently recruiting for a new Chair and Treasurer, these are key roles and we are looking for people who can be actively involved in the PTA. We also need new members to join our meetings and to volunteer to help at school and PTA events.
